Amadeo (January '02)
A Random Fanart for Allie. No, really, I was in class, and I had my sketchbook out, and the next thing I new he was staring at me. Colored in Painter. I'm really satisfied with how this pulled together, the sketch was simple but suits him, the colors are simple but they pull together well... altogether good things ^^
MOB: Tanaquil (February '02)
A MOB submission for February. I was inspired again :) I wanted to try working with simpler colors and composition, with more flare to the lines. The white blob was intended to be a griffin, since Tanaquil protects mythical creatures. Inked with brushpen, colored in Photoshop.
Kup (February '02)
A little something for Umi, to cheer her up during illness and computer troubles. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but a quick little Painter doodle of her character, Kup. I know the colors clash, shush. I still like it ;) Her wild untamed hair was fun to do ^_^
Lady In Red (February '02)
A quick Arkady sketch for Faith. I felt I had to give her another try after our recent character exchange, so I whipped out the red pencil and then slapped some tone on in Painter. I like the shiny redness, and the red eyes grow on me. Symmetry is for the weak.
MOB: Polo (March '02)
My March MOB submission. I came so close to winning, I had to give it another shot this month. Besides: Urban fairy, wee! I thought I'd play up the urban aspect and make a digital collage out of newspaper. Oddly difficult, amazingly fun. Shall try it again.
Mao (March '02)
Yet another Strings of Fate fanart :) This was an unexpected Mao sketch drawn during Japanese class. I thought the lines looked kinda solid, so I brought it into Painter and played with the watercolor brush. I love the color composition, but she doesn't look much like Mao anymore ^_^;
Red Head Character Club: Kasumi (March '02)
The March topic for said club was draw fanart for people who haven't recieved fanart yet. The theme being draw a piece inspired by a song that's reminiscent of the character. A fun romp through perspective and drawing in Painter. Song would be Haunted, by Poe. I have an abundance of angst-music.

Morgainne (April '02)
A spontaneous fanart for Allie. For some reason history class inspires me for her (see Amadeo above). I drew this in pen, so I made a few mistakes, but for the most part I like this, if only for her face. The dull colors work well, also. I planned to make the cross burn, but I couldn't make the flames look cool so I left it alone ^^;

MOB: Josie (April '02)
My April MOB submission. This submission was rushed due to lack of time, and thus I don't expect to win. Still, I tried to pay homage to Josie, if only because the creator gave her big hips :D I like the motion in this, it's one of my liveliest drawings to make it past sketch stage. Dig that 80's background.
