 Mistress of Ice (February '99)
This would be Anri, a mage from the first game, casting "Freeze". I just drew this randomly, without a reference (so I messed up on her clothes - um, different outfit I guess? ^^;) during biology. The scan turned out horrible.
 Mistress of Fire (March '99)
After I drew Anri, I sort of had to draw Tao, the first mage in the game, encircled in flames. Meant as a counterpart to the above, I like it MUCH better (same colored pencils, but better coloring and scanning). Plus I was a little more accurate with her character design this time ^^;
 Mistress of Lightning (March '99)
At this point I felt I should complete the series of "female mages" from Shining Force I, by doing Alef, casting "Bolt". I like the color combinations, and the posture, but the lightning needs work ^^; I also had to improvise from memory, since she's not in the guidebook... She's a fox/cat-ish person if memory serves me right.
 Mae (March '99)
I'd done all the female mages, so I tried moving onto another - Mae the Centaur. I haven't drawn horses/centaurs before, ever, so this was a challenge ^^; I like the pose, but the color scheme's bland, and her face had an inking error I couldn't fix. Colored pencil and pen.
 Diane (March '99)
Since I was doing the other female characters, I had to do Diane, the cooler of the 2 elven archers (Hans was a whimp darnit! Erm). I was experimenting with perspective, which is why she's aiming the arrow directly at the viewer. I messed up on the inking, and I accidentally made her left handed, but other than that... ^^;
 Khris (April '99)
There was no way I'd let myself not draw Khris. A healer and probably my favorite of all the characters in that game ^^ The only problem is her design is so hard ^^;; I think this came out okay. I like her face and the coloring. Colored pencil.
 Peter (April '99)
And for variety, here's Peter, a pheonix from SF2 (promoted). He's darned hard to find a good shot of in the game, so I sort of winged it ^^; I like the feathers, and the claws. CG.
 Dao (April '99)
Taya, from SF2 (inspiration for my original character Taya, actually ^^;;). I always loved her character icon ^^ Anyway, this would be her, casting Dao (an earth-based spell). I like it, but I messed up on the colors a bit, it scanned poorly, and her hair is too poofy ^^;; Coloredpencils.
 Sarah (May '99)
Sarah, a healer (from SF2). She was cool, darnit, she was! ^_- Anyway, I tried to draw her healing but I sorta messed up, so she's casting some spell or another (blast, maybe?). I drew this in early April but only now colored it ^^; Colorpencil.
